18SP389 — Install 64-Plate Oil Cooler for Remote-Mounted Filters on 12V-92 Marine Engine..
This kit includes the parts required to replace the former 48-plate oil cooler installation (two 24-plate oil cooler assemblies) with the improved 64-plate oil cooler installation (two 32-plate oil cooler assemblies) for remote mounted filter applications on 12V-92 marine engines. Remove the former 48-plate installation andinstall the
improved 64-plate installation as shown below.
1. With the engine stopped and cool, drain the engine lubricating oil and remove the oil filters. If remote mounted filters were previously installed, disconnect oil supply and return lines and remove the filter
adapter. Dispose of used lubricating oil and filters in an environmentally responsible manner, according to state and/or federal (EPA) recommendations.
