one. OK, Daihatsu’s new Terios
range does have some competition,
but the derivative we have
on test here is - in SA at least -
unique. A compact SUV with permanent
four-wheel drive and a
(small capacity) engine mated
with an automatic transmission, it
offers attractive and practical
urban off-roader transport for less
than R200 000. Try and match the
specification, and you will come
up blank. So, is the Terios 4×4 AT
a marketing masterstroke?
