When a Japanese manufacturer presses the green light (get it… green light!) on a new model run, you can be sure there are years of development, stacks of research and an abundance of state of the art engineering tweaks that have gone into the mix. What’s more, it’s a sure bet the machine will be ultra-reliable, have performance to burn, handle sweetly, go like the wind and, quite likely, sell like hot cakes. Plus, you’ll be able to look closely at one on a dealer’s showroom fl oor, and perhaps even test ride one. Japanese manufacturers and their expansive dealer networks are also big enough to absorb, almost without question, any niggling warranty issues, should they crop up. So, don’t let the late (and early!) arrival of the 2008 model Kawasaki KLX450R put you off.
