Short Description
In some vehicles, when customers contact the Lexus Link call center to enroll their vehicle for Lexus Link service, the call center is unable to activate the Lexus Link system. A revised Lexus Link ECU is available to address this condition.

2007 model year GX 470 and LS 460 vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

1. Order a replacement Lexus Link ECU through the exchange program via the vendor exchange application in Dealer Daily.
2. Check the current number of PCS (Personal Calling) minutes available.
A. Press the voice recognition button on the Lexus Link button module and say “Units”. The system will respond with “Verify or Add”.
B. Say “Verify”. The system will respond with the number of PCS minutes remaining.
C. Write down the number of minutes remaining.
D. Press the voice recognition button to end voice recognition mode.
3. Replace the Lexus Link ECU.
Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), applicable model year and model Owner’s Manual: Lexus Link.
4. Put the Lexus Link ECU into demo mode (changing Lexus Link from Factory Mode to Demo Mode [a.k.a. Dealer Mode]).
